	Canvas Until the late eighties Ricardo created many oil paintings that still hang in homes and businesses around the Pacific Northwest. Three of his canvases were turned into offset lithographs. Oil paint, some linseed oil, brushes, knives, towels, jars or buckets... it was a living for a long time. My primary influences were JMW Turner from Britain, and a good deal of Chinese landscape painting.
