Embodiment of Aloha

Dear Ricardo, I’ve seen you to give and receive so abundantly in life, in your friendships, in your love of the land. There are so many stories and examples of your full embrace and support of life, one of my favorite of which is something I tune into almost every day: the CD you produced with Ana B – Keanali’iomana’e Bertelmann’s Ku’u Kulaiwi. I love her music. The duo with her mother, Mele Aloha Aina, is what I turn to when I most need malama. Just the thought of mother and child singing this together gives me joy.
