Totem Photographs 

A native friend from Canada told me once that this is where totem poles came from…if you fell asleep next to the water, and then opened your eyes before you sat up, what you'd see was amazing.  Then you'd sit up and it would be gone. These are all pictures of just that, the waterline – with no manipulations. All the images were taken in various coves in SE Alaska, with just the natural reflection of the water – and all then turned 90 degrees.
